| Anything
else you would like to add about the organisation: |
| Scouting
is the most successful youth movement the world has ever seen;
having had over 300 million members worldwide since 1907.
Our boys and girls enjoy fun,
adventure and friendship during their 3 years as a Cub, before
moving up at the age of 11 to the Scout section.
We believe that scouting works well
when young people "learn by doing" and we try to achieve
this by exposing our cubs to a variety of activities and new
experiences, helping them to explore the outdoors, learn to
participate in teams and to take on responsibility. Our
weekly devotional is Bible based and we seek to challenge our Cubs
to follow Christ and put God First in their lives. |
