| Purpose/Aims
of Organisation: |

Our aim is: a) to unite the women of the
Church in the dedication of their lives to Jesus Christ and His
service, in the home, the workplace, the community and the Church.
b) to share in the mission of the Church at home and overseas
through thought, prayer and financial support. c) to provide a link
with the women of other Churches in Ireland and throughout the
world. |

age range/who is the organisation for: |
|
Women of all ages. |
| When
does the organisation meet and for how long: |
|
First and third Tuesday of each month
from 8.00pm - 9.30pm in
the Church Halls. |
| What
happens during a typical meeting: |
|
On the first Tuesday of each month we
knit and crochet baby cardigans, vests and small blankets for
hospitals in Malawi. On the third Tuesday we usually have an
invited speaker, a time of prayer for missionary work, a cup of tea
and a chat. |
| Special
events/projects in the past: |
|
Ten of our members spent two weeks in
Malawi in July 2002 meeting up with missionaries, Girls Brigade
groups, Scouts, hospitals and orphanages, bringing medicine and
educational materials. |
| Special
events/projects in the future: |
|
In the Church Hall on Thursday, 17th
January at 8.00pm, Brian Gault - a thalidomide survivor - will be
our guest speaker. |

In 2006 we are looking forward to our
Presbytery Rally, a North/South meeting in Church House and our
annual day trip away. |
