of Organisation: |

The aim of Girls Brigade is to help
girls become followers of Jesus Christ and through self control,
reverence and a sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of
life. |

age range/who is the organisation for: |
|
Girls, aged between 2 and 8 years. |
| When
does the organisation meet and for how long: |
|
Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.45pm. |
| What
happens during a typical meeting: |
|
Free time to play at start of the
meeting followed by chorus singing, Bible stories, games, skipping,
P.E., handcrafts, baking. |
| Special
events/projects in the past: |
|
Visits to the Christmas Pantomime in
Belfast, Christmas Concert, visits to McDonald's. Fundraising
for missions, the Red Cross, St. John's Children's Hospice. |
| Special
events/projects in the future: |
|
Weekend away to Crawfordsburn from the
7th to 9th October 2005. |

Our vision statement is that by 2006
Girls Brigade Northern Ireland will be recognised as a dynamic,
relevant, Christ-centre organisation effectively reaching out to all
girls to value, nurture and equip them for life.
