age range/who is the organisation for: |

Senior Citizens, 60+. |
| When
does the organisation meet and for how long: |
|
Each Thursday from 2.30pm – 4.00pm in
the Church Halls. |
| What
happens during a typical meeting: |
|
We begin with a cup of tea and chat,
ending with a time of praise. Then follows a varied programme
which usually lasts around 30 minutes. An example of what we
do would range from keep fit, craftwork, brain teasers including
'Guess Who' and miming, Bible games/quizzes, poems, testimonies,
occasional solos and missionary news. The remainder of time is given
to Bible talks. On the first Thursday of each month we have a
Bible study. Each meeting is opened and closed with a time of
prayer. |
| Special
events/projects in the past: |
|
Money has been raised and sent to 'Open
Doors' - Bibles for China and persecuted believers. We have
also supported Project Kneel Ministries and Child Evangelism
Fellowship |
