Hello to all members and friends of Hill Street Church!!

Greetings from the Moore family in North Antrim. It is a year since we sent an update to the web site so it is high time for another one.

It has been encouraging throughout the year to hear, through the grapevine, snippets of news regarding the good work that is going on in and around Hill Street. It is always good to hear of God’s Church on the move. Thanks to all of you who have made contact throughout the year.

We can thank God that our family are all in good health and getting on with things.

Thomas is still working near Ballymena and still enjoying his dog - she is very lively and demands lots of exercise so Thomas gets plenty of fresh air and walking!! Some people have been asking how Shiver is so here are a few photos -

Rhoda has been working for the last 4 months in Malahide Presbyterian Church. Hopefully you will have read her own newsletter for all the details on how she is getting.

David is at Union College and so far has done well in all his assignments. It is great that he is able to meet up with some of the Hill Street folks in the college. He still does a lot of road running and trains with Queens club as well as doing some races with the running club here in Ballymoney. He teaches Sunday school in Finvoy Church and is also very involved in the Youth Club in Trinity, Ballymoney. In other words he is enjoying life and is very busy!!

It is hard to believe Hannah is doing her GCSE’S this year. It is hard to fit in study time when you play hockey for the school and town teams, go on hockey tour, meet up with friends, go to Exodus on Saturday nights, help with the school play etc. However from now on in it will definitely be head down and on with the work.

Drew loves his work in Portglenone church alongside Rev. Albert Baxter, he is Sunday preaching here and there and having more time to relax. Meantime Roberta works two days a week for the Coleraine Trust as well as one afternoon and evening a week in her own clinic at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre. A lot of Roberta’s time is also taken up helping with the Containers for Malawi project. It is great to be involved in God’s work!!

Through invitation from Malawian ministers Drew and Roberta had the privilege of returning to Malawi this autumn - Roberta stayed for 2 weeks and Drew for 5. What a thrill it was to work even for a short time in the Church there - partnership in the gospel is a marvellous thing!

Anyway we wont bore you with any more details but will leave you with a family photo taken at Christmas 2006.

With love from “The Moores”
